If you are a creative person looking to work in Indonesia, getting an Entertainment KITAS will give you the freedom to express yourself and share your art.

Estimated processing time - 6 weeks.

The Entertainment ITAS is also commonly referred to as an Artist or Performer ITAS and is a permit that grants foreign artists a 6 month multi-entry stay in Indonesia.

It is intended for anyone who wish to work in the following occupations:

  • Art Director

  • Music Director

  • Musician

  • Singer

  • Disc Jockey

  • Film Director

  • Actress and Actor

  • Dancer

  • Ads Model

  • Fashion Model

  • Following the Ministry of Law and Human Rights latest visa classification regulations, Working ITAS is now issued under the new indexes ranging from E23-E26, depending on the nature of the working role. You may have found in your research that the Entertainment ITAS index is C312, however, this classification number has now been renamed to E23R in accordance with the new regulations stipulated in October 2023.

  • When it comes to foreigners working in Indonesia, the government is very strict. It is essential to follow the laws and make sure you only work with a permit because many foreigners have faced hefty fines or deportation for not doing so. We highly recommend respecting the rules and laws to ensure you have peace of mind during your time here.

An Entertainment ITAS can be sponsored by an independent agency, which means you don’t need an employer to obtain one. Bali Solve can act as your sponsor for you and help you make the process transparent and efficient, so that you can focus on your craft.

Getting Your Entertainment ITAS

The process for getting your Entertainment ITAS will vary depending on if you are applying from within Indonesia (from Visit Visa to ITAS) or from overseas.

    2. The next step is to acquire a work permit intended for foreigners which is known as an IMTA (Izin Memperkerjakan Tenaga Kerja Asing) - 10-15 business days.

    3. In this stage, you will receive your e-ITAS visa which usually takes around 5-8 business days to issue. Please note that you should enter Indonesia within 90 days from when the e-visa is issued.

    4. As you arrive in Indonesia using the e-ITAS, your Working permit will activate and you will do your photos and fingerprint scan at the airport so you don’t need to go to Immigration later. Your day 1 of Entertainment ITAS will be the day or arrival to Indonesia.
