Visit Visa

#211A

If you're planning to visit Indonesia for tourism or business purposes and wish to stay for two months or longer, a Visit Visa is probably the right visa choice for you.

Regular process 7-14 working days.

Express process 3-5 working days.

The Visit Visa is a 60-day stay permit designed for foreign nationals that can be extended if necessary to 180 days. It can be used for several different visitation purposes, but tourism and business are the most common ones. So that we can provide you with the right visa, please let us know your reason for traveling when you get in touch with us.

  • Although this visa can be used for business purposes, it’s important to note that the Visit Visa does not grant you the right to work or earn income in Indonesia. Earning money or engaging in employment activities whilst on this visa can result in serious penalties, such as a hefty fine or deportation. If you would like more information about working in Indonesia or obtaining a work permit please refer to our ‘Working KITAS’ page or don’t hesitate to contact us.

The Visit Visa is a single entry permit and becomes active upon your arrival in Indonesia. However, since it is a single entry visa, as soon as you depart it is no longer valid which means if you plan on leaving and returning to Indonesia, you will need to apply for a new visa.

We would like to mention here that visa classification in Indonesia is undergoing a transition period. The Visit Visa is generally known as a B211A visa, although it will soon be given a different name, and be classified under the heading ‘C,’ which will include several different visa types, but the visas will continue to function in the same way. You don’t really need to worry about the name change as our team of visa and business consultants can handle the process for you.

  • The standard validity is 60 days but if you wish to extend your stay beyond 60 days, you can do so in-country, up to two times, with each extension granting you an additional 60 days. This means that with both extensions applied, you can stay in the country for a maximum of 180 days.

The validity periods can be broken down like this:

    60 days initially granted
    + 1st 60 days extension
    + 2nd 60 days extension
    Total: 180 days

After 180 days, it is necessary to leave Indonesia. It’s hard to leave, we know, but not to worry, you can still re-enter on another Visit Visa as long as you apply for it far enough in advance. Please let our team know your plans before your visa expires if you are hoping to return, so that we can help you to enjoy Bali or Indonesia a little longer.

  • At Bali Solve, we offer two visa issuance options: standard processing and express processing. Our standard processing time is 7-14 days, while our express processing will have your visa ready in just 3-5 business days. When applying, please inform us of your intended travel dates so we can provide you with the service that suits your time frame.

  • To apply for the Visit Visa, you will need the following documents:

    1. Passport bio page photo

    2. Digital portrait photo (a shoulder-length selfie is suitable)

    3. Passport validity of at least 6 months

    4. Flight tickets (if already purchased)

    5. Proof of visa payment

You can submit your application via email to info@balisolve.com or simply send a WhatsApp message to one of our team members. We accept various payment methods, including direct bank transfers, Paypal and cash or card payments in our Pererenan office. Please note that card payments are subject to a 2.1-3% card charge, while Paypal incurs a 6% currency exchange charge. Additionally, please be aware that emergency passports cannot be used for Visit Visa applications.

  • Unfortunately, for passport holders from Cameroon, Nigeria, Israel, North Korea, Liberia, Guinea, Somalia or Bangladesh, travel to Indonesia is currently not possible. If you are from one of these countries, please note that this list can change in accordance with the latest Immigration rules.

  • We aim to take the stress out of the application and ensure that you don’t have to deal with embassies and that everything is taken care of from start to finish. When your visa is processed, we'll send it to you electronically via email or WhatsApp in a PDF printable format, complete with a special QR code. Upon arrival, you can conveniently show your visa on your electronic device or choose to print it out beforehand.

If you're already in Indonesia, you can still apply for a Visit Visa easily. All you need to do is leave the country temporarily to deactivate your current/previous visa and return with the newly issued Visit Visa to activate it.

  • First and foremost, it’s important to make sure you enter Indonesia before the specified "the visa must be used by" date on your e-Visa.

When you arrive in Indonesia, the Immigration officer may ask about the purpose of your visit. Ensure your description aligns with the type of visa you hold. In addition to your visa, please have your valid passport (the same one used for the Visit Visa application) and an exit ticket from Indonesian territory ready for Immigration control. Although you don’t officially need them, it is recommended to have accommodation booking, insurance and covid-19 vaccine letters if possible.

When you arrive, you will receive an Immigration stamp/sticker in your passport which allows you to stay in Indonesia for 60 days. The 60 days is counted from the date of arrival and you have the option to extend your stay up to 120 days and then later to 180 days by applying for a visa extension at the local Immigration office.

Our goal is to give our customers a smooth and hassle-free experience. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or queries you have so you can arrive in Bali with complete peace of mind.

VISA EXTENSIONS

If you leave it to us, extending your visa will be an easy and straightforward process. To get started, all you need is your physical passport and arrival flight tickets. We need these documents to submit your visa extension request to Immigration.

To avoid any complications or overstay fines, it is highly recommended to apply for visa extensions early on - ideally no later than 2 weeks before your visa expiry. The expiration date can be found on the white Immigration sticker inside your passport, placed by the Immigration officer upon arrival in Indonesia.

In Bali, we have two main Immigration offices: Denpasar and Jimbaran. Depending on where you are staying, our team will help you choose the office that is most convenient for you.

If you would like more information or to extend your visa, please contact us via our Visa Extensions Hotline WhatsApp number +62 813 3774 9995 or drop by our Pererenan office in person.

The Extension Process

1. Drop Off and Pay: Begin by dropping off your physical passport at our agency office and settling the fee for the extension.

2. Submission: The following business day, we will submit your passport to the chosen Immigration office.

3. Biometrics Appointment: Within 7-10 days, Immigration will schedule a biometrics appointment for you. This appointment includes a photo and fingerprint scan at the Immigration office in either Denpasar. Our team will inform you of the exact schedule ahead of time.

4. Passport Return: Once your biometrics appointment is complete, your passport will be returned to our agency's office within 7-10 days.

Important Reminders

Express Processing: If you're in a hurry, express processing is available for an additional charge.

No Need to Visit Immigration Twice: You only need to visit the Immigration office for the first extension because they will need to take your fingerprints. For any subsequent extensions, we will take care of the process, although your physical passport will still be required.

Office Hours: Please note that our office is closed on weekends and public holidays. If you need to collect your passport, feel free to come at any time during our working hours.
